How to measure your waists.
Measuring your waist correctly for waist beads is simple, but doing it the right way makes a big difference in comfort and fit. Here’s a clear step-by-step guide:
First, decide how you want your waist beads to sit. They can rest high on your waist (above the belly button), at your natural waist, or lower on your hips. Most people choose their natural waist, the smallest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button.
Next, grab a soft measuring tape (the kind used for sewing). If you don’t have one, you can use a string and then measure it with a ruler afterward.
Stand up straight but relaxed. Don’t suck in your stomach or tighten your core, just breathe normally. Wrap the measuring tape around the area where you want your waist beads to sit. Make sure it’s snug but not tight. You should be able to slide one finger underneath comfortably.
Check the number where the tape meets. That is your waist measurement for your beads.
Thank you for shopping, Luci Lum!
